Funded Student Access to the 2026 GRDI Scholars Symposium

The GRDI Student Access Block Grant provides funded registration for students to participate in the 2026 GRDI Scholars Symposium, taking place virtually on November 13, 2026.

The Symposium is the closing virtual gathering of the 2026 Global Respectful Disruption Leadership (RDL) Speaker Series, bringing together students and emerging leaders to reflect on how global and intercultural experiences are shaping their perspectives, leadership, careers, communities, and next steps.

Inspired by the support of Global Nexus Collective, COMPEAR Global Education Network expanded this pilot to create additional opportunities for students to participate in the Symposium at no cost.

Two Ways to Participate

University & Nonprofit Organization Nomination

Who Can Participate?

Students do not need to be experts in global education to participate.

This opportunity is for students who are considering an international experience, preparing to go abroad, currently abroad, recently returned, or participating in domestic intercultural learning programs and experiences.

We welcome students interested in global learning, intercultural learning, leadership, community engagement, international education, and exploring how these experiences can shape their perspectives, goals, and next steps.

About the GRDI Scholars Symposium
